I'm still a newbie at Blogging and I can tell when I come across my growing favorite blog Lushless I personally find it very easy and clear to read and work round which is also a plus when it holds some great blogs on smaller designers, photographers ect and insteresting accessories, crafts and garments. to me this blog shares fresh new fashion which is high end high street an interruption oh the catwalks and coutrure fashion. Lushlee finds the little gems hidden  across our land. enjoy seeing her loves which are partly my loves now.I do like the present blog on Sessun Fall/ Winter collection 2011.... this a new company I have come across through my Blogging.

How to Write My Story......

I have recently come back from a 5 day camping trip at Momentum held in Somerset yearly, I have had a fabulous time one i could share with good friends fall of laughs and inspiration times, it is a growing Christian event  with around five thousand young adults attending .  Though I could sit here and talk your ear off about the complete 5 days there is just one particular thought and realisation I grasped, it has opened my eyes to how my faith and creative world can interlink to form my story one real, personal, strong and hopefully influential both in my faith and as a designer.

This is the beginning of a new chapter as I have been technically been writing my story for the last 20 years.  The aspect I have often pondered on in my faith is how to make it relevant  in my day to day life with my ambitions and career goals  as I  frequently felt confused to how fashion was in God plan and how Me doing that could bring anything to his kingdom. My view has now changed with a fresh understanding that we are not measure on how Godly our job is but how we can use our opportunities to reach to others giving a caring ear hand to offer reflecting our faith and the best way to do that is through our personal gifts, skills and love which we have been given.

So I can go on doing what I have a passion for whilst staying connected to God its an inner strength I have found in my dreams and desires and directing me forward. Creativity is a gift to be shared and expressed.

One of my friends Rachel Seymour was there during Momentum and she revealed one creative inspired format to speak the words....
...when you have moment of no words of your own to share, Have a peek!!

Some of you lovely girls and guys may of seen us kick off the Frome Festival fashion show last Tuesday night. For the ones of you who didn’,t you are in for a treat when the new video is posted soon. We at Truly Sopel hope you enjoy the New Knicker line collection as much as we did on the catwalk. The whole night seemed to be a great success with a couple of local neighbouring companies and bigger brands taking part. The models did us proud looking outstanding in 8 different knicker and top sets which we offer.
Natalie stephenson has recently joined us at Truly Sopel for a month intership where we are showing her the ins and outs of the company and how it all comes together. Though Natalie has only been here coming up to two weeks it is nice to know she is settling in and becoming a key bit of furniture. It is nice to know Natalie herself if also finding the placement valuable.

We have recently spotted a thoughtful mention on Natalie’s blog… have a look and enjoy the read to hear about our company from an outsider and customer point of view on our garments.

Disappearing for the Cobbled Street of St Cathrines Hill

What can I say ... I Truly can't believe a month has gone, It has been great working with Truly over the last few weeks, It was nice to get into the business atmosphere and with such lovely people!
I have learnt same interesting things about the company and about the design business as a whole and what it takes to build a successful company name and label.
The weeks stormed by and now that 4 weeks have gone by I still stand by my first blog from Frome stating that St Cathrines Hill is never quiet and full of surprises!!
This was proven  when on the last day out of the blue I was asked to do a short radio interview on behalf of Truly Sopel concerning her new Truly Knicker collection on BBC Somerset:  http://www.trulyknickers.com/

You can found Me at 1.44 into the 3 hours!
Have a listen to would people including myself have to say about knickers and find out what this new style on pant is ' A Brazilian' and not the waxing... I'm still not sure so please inform. Also feel free to agree or disagree with the comments I made on knickers.
I have to say I don't know how radio presenters do it, I honestly can't stand listening to my own voice.
It was an interesting experience and a secret one at that as they managed to get my name wrong twice so listen out for my very own personal new radio show name 'Natalie Evans'

Nature Inspired

This is a little creativity I have found to enjoy recently on the sunny days at the start of summer, Its nothing much and everyone and anyone is able to try it and create what they wish.
If you like photography you could do some great shots and if you're like me and just love having a little camera on you for these moments you will be surprised at what you can pull together.

I started by making letters to spell out Ruthie for a friends present......

Lite Candles
Dried Roses
Plaited Rope

Daisies

Small Stones

Buttons

To complete the present I printed them off on photogrphic paper and places in a 6 section landscape frame...
Happy Birthday 18th birthday Ruth
Hope you liked it and sorry it was so late.

I really enjoyed being out in the sun playing with my camera and the objects I found I did a couple more doing different styles and using different objects, These are in black and but I do have them in colour too ...with different contrasts the colours look great and vibrant.

Look and nature and the beauty will be revealed
